WHEN DO YOU DO NEWBORN SESSIONS?

Newborn sessions usually occur within is 1-2 weeks after baby arrives. Fresh 48 is 1-2 days after baby arrives in hospital. Newborn sessions are typically a weekday morning around 10a! 

MY KID GOES TO BED EARLY, BUT I WANT SUNSET PHOTOS - HELP!!

My potentially controversial take is that one night will not hurt. I have had countless parents do a few things to help this situation and still achieve the photos they want. They keep their kids home from school or daycare that day, build in an extra nap and/or bribe with snacks (we are not above bribes here!). If none of these options call to you, you can opt for a sunrise session which are just as beautiful!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY SESSION?

Whatever you feel the most comfortable in! I try to stick to neutrals in general. I have an entire client closet for mom, baby and even siblings for you to take a look at and offer all my clients access to my styling guide to make it simple!

WHAT IF MY BABY COMES EARLY OR LATE?

It has never been and will never be a problem! Part of this job is being totally ok with changing dates and being flexible. I will always make it work! 

IM WORRIED MY BABY WILL CRY DURING OUR SESSION!

They totally will - but that's the whole thing, right?! We go at babies pace. Need a change, no problem! Feeding? Sure thing! Maybe they just need a momma snuggle! I am in no rush whatsoever. My priority is that you feel calm and that baby doesn't feel unsettled. I am an expert baby snuggler, I will help you through it! Bonus: I send you a whole prep guide before the session so you feel extra comfy going into it!

WHAT IF MY KIDS DON'T SMILE OR BEHAVE?

My approach is always baby and child led photography. Forcing anyone (especially a little one) to do anything boring usually results in a riot or full shutdown. My sessions are FUN. We play, we connect, we makeup games and above all we are so so silly. Not to toot my own horn, but kids LOVE me. On multiple occasions parents have said to me, "oh my goodness, my kid never warms up this fast!" I promise, I've got this!

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY MATERNITY SESSION?

Maternity sessions should be scheduled at 29-34 weeks so your bump will really be bumpin' by then! Reach out as soon as possible so you can make sure I have the date available! 

DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?

I don't have my own (yet!) but have a few options in the central, north and south jersey area that I love and have great light! This would be an added cost for you and varies depending on the studio you choose!

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO HAVE MY PHOTOS BACK?

My timelines vary depending on the season, but you can expect them between 1-3 weeks on average!
